SCALABLE DC-COUPLED SOLAR PLUS ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM FOR UTILITY-SCALE PV INSTALLATIONS

The DPS®-i500 is a fully-integrated DC-coupled solar plus storage energy storage system that combines Dynapower’s efficient UL 1741 DPS®-500 with Li-Ion batteries in a temperature-controlled battery NEMA-rated enclosure. The highly compact integrated system is easily deployed on a concrete pad, crushed stone or on the ground with a forklift and minimal labor, reducing system installation costs for integrators and system owners. The system enables the easy install of DC-coupled energy storage to new and existing PV system arrays. DC-coupled systems enable clipping capture of excess curtailed PV energy while reducing the BOP cost for system integrators.

Multiple DPS®-i500 systems can be paralleled together to meet the sizing needs of any utility-scale solar plus storage (PVS) installation
