Preventive Maintenance

It is the policy of Dynapower and Rapid Power to provide the best possible service to our customers. We are therefore pleased to offer our exclusive preventive maintenance program.

The preventive maintenance program is designed to ensure that your equipment is inspected and adjusted on a regular basis to extend the reliable operating life of the equipment. Our goal is to prevent unnecessary equipment failures, ensure proper operation, and therefore minimize your repair and operating costs. If potential problems are observed, corrective action may be taken during the preventive maintenance visit with approval of the customer.

The following steps are performed during a regularly scheduled preventive maintenance visit:

  • Evaluate operation of equipment
  • Inspect all connections
  • Check all interlocks
  • Check semiconductors and clamps
  • Calibrate voltmeters
  • Check all controls and indicators
  • Provide a report on current condition
  • Provide a suggested PM schedule
  • Perform operator and maintenance training

The program price covers two (2) scheduled maintenance calls, including labor and travel. Any labor charges for work beyond that covered under the program guidelines will be invoiced at 15% off of standard hourly pricing. 

Any spare parts sold to the customer at the time of placement of the preventive maintenance contract or when our service technician is onsite performing the PM will be invoiced against the PM purchase order at a 15% discount from list price. Our spare parts sales staff will be pleased to provide a recommended list of spare parts for each unit owned. 

The date of each preventive maintenance visit will be scheduled at least two (2) weeks in advance, by mutual agreement between the customer and our service department. Preventive maintenance is performed during normal working hours. All preventive maintenance contracts are valid for one (1) year and cover one (1) full day onsite for each service call scheduled. Dynapower preventive maintenance contracts may not be used for emergency service.
