Dynapower Touchpad System
Touchpads
Dynapower and Rapid Power Corporation’s Touchpad interface is a flexible platform that is easy to use, programmable and provides users with precision control of their rectifier. The digital display with alpha numeric readout and status indication offer the user an informative, easily read user interface.Â
The Touchpad interface provides the option of using standard control features such as setting of voltage and current for an application or construction of complex waveforms and reversing profiles through its programmable interface, which includes ramp functionality, timers, and ampere-hour metering.Â
The Touchpad is factory-ready to interface with automation equipment and allows for monitoring via analog 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC or 4-20mA signals. In addition, the Touchpad has an optional RS485 interface for remote on/off control and status monitoring via a PC or PLC interface.Â
The Touchpad is easily retrofitted to your existing power supply and is available as an option with all new equipment.Â

Standard Remote Controls
Each standard SCR rectifier includes a PVC remote control panel with the following specifications:
- Enclosure rating: NEMA 12
- Enclosure dimensions: 16" high  x 14" wide x 7" deep
Each standard remote control contains the following controls and indicators:
- Analog voltmeter – accuracy is 2% of full scale
- Analog ammeter – accuracy is 2% of full scale
- 270° turn voltage control potentiometer
- 270° turn current control potentiometer
- Start/stop pushbutton
- Power on indicator
The following options are available for incorporation into the rectifier. Note that the physical size and material of the remote may change with various options.
- Amp-hour meter
- Digital meters
- Digital cycle timer with alarm
- Adjustable ramp rate control – current or voltage
- Reverse mode controls – remote control will be fitted with a forward/reverse selector switch as well as additional potentiometers to control the amplitude of the reverse voltage and current
- Pulse control – base and peak amplitude current and voltage controls will be provided with the pulse option
Enclosure options:
- Standard remote enclosures are available in PVC, stainless steel, or painted carbon steel to meet our customers' requirements. Alternate finish and enclosure ingress protection ratings available upon request.
Anodize Process Controller
Dynapower and SCR Engineering are pleased to offer a complete NEMA 4 rated PLC based process controller that integrates process control of an anodize line into a single, simple controller. This touch screen controller can be integrated into any manufacturers rectifier where the base typology is designed around analog controls. Special run modes including the 720 rule have been developed for processes such as Type II and Type III anodizing.Â

- NEMA 4 rated enclosure with 5.5" touchscreen operator interface
- Three (3) programmable run modes which include manual control, general R&D, and 16 standard recipes that can be adjusted based on customer programming requirements. The number of recipes can be increased. Run parameters are password protected and can be edited by a manager and selectable by an operator. This allows control of the operation by qualified personnel only.
