- The
EUD-7-100130404 is an assembly that has been designed to
provide gate firing pulses to 6 pulse thyristor controlled
power supplies.
The assembly consists of two circuit boards.
The top board has the logic and control circuitry, the
bottom board has the gate output.
The circuit has six isolated ‘hard fire’ outputs.
Hard fire provides a high gate current for a very short
time, followed by a ‘backporch’ current.
This circuit is a replacement for all previous versions
of Model Number EU-10013D Firing Circuits.
It is a pin-for-pin replacement and will work directly
when installed into a power supply operating in a 60 Hz power
system.

Status
Indicators |
|
There
are three LED status indicators on the board:
-
POWER
- a red LED that is ON when power is applied to the board.
-
READY
- a green LED that is on when the circuit is synchronized to the
input power.
-
INHIBIT
- a yellow LED that is ON when an INHIBIT signal is applied to
the circuit.
