IHC has been in
the anodizing business for almost 40 years and during this time we
have had the opportunity to use and evaluate many vendors.
Of the many vendors that we have evaluated over the years,
Dynapower has proven itself as one of the best.
Although we had
low output Dynapower rectifiers for sulfuric and chromic anodize
since our founding in 1962, we purchased our first Dynapower hard
anodize rectifier in approximately 1970.
This unit had 2000 amp, 75 volt output.
Although it is hard to believe today, that rectifier was
one of the very early models using solid-state controls for high
output applications. This
rectifier ran well when we bought it and, in fact, still continues
to run well today after 30+ years of intensive use.
Throughout our
history we have continued to acquire Dynapower rectifiers. Today we have an approximate total of 20 units ranging in
output from 200 to 10,000 amps.
Over the years we
have found Dynapower to build very robust units that rarely
require service other than routine maintenance.
In the few occasions that we have required service help,
Dynapower has provided high quality technicians and made repairs
in a timely manner. Even
though the vast majority of our power supplies are from Dynapower,
the majority our Dynapower service calls have been to repair the
few machines we have that were built by other manufacturers.
As our need for
larger and more sophisticated equipment continues to increase, we
will continue to look towards Dynapower as the supplier of choice.
Sincerely,
Jeff
